Normal Hours

The Studio is open for general use by members:

• Monday – Saturday: 10:00am – 8:00pm

  Members already in-house by 8pm may remain working until 9pm at staff’s discretion.

• Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

Hours are subject to change for holidays. Such abnormal hours will be communicated via email, on our Google and other online profiles, and posted in advance in the studio when possible.

Generally, experiences offered at The Wheel House do not conflict with members’ access to the studio. We maintain some wheels and other equipment exclusively for members’ use. Members are also welcome to use class wheels when classes are not in session. Members are asked to let the staff know if they encounter a lack of access to equipment.

Occasionally, special events may close the studio to members’ access. These situations will be kept rare, for example, not more than 8 total hours in a calendar month. Such will be posted on the website, in the studio, and in email newsletters in advance.

The Wheel House is not liable for any inconvenience or unwanted impacts resulting from temporary closures or changes to hours.

Allowed Access & Use

The Wheel House Studio is a shared resource maintained for members’ and students’ experiences alike. All members are required to reasonably minimize their use of space and equipment access in the interest of allowing others the courtesy of their access.

• Only active, paid members, their allowed and signed-in guests, and enrolled students may use the studio and its equipment.
• Customers may NOT enter areas of the studio restricted to staff. This includes:
  • The kiln area
  • The storage closet
  • Behind the front desk
  • Beyond the water cooler in the front room (”kitchen”) without express permission from staff.
• Customers may not use shelves except those which are:
  • Their own as assigned per their membership subscription;
  • For submitting or receiving works to be fired; or
  • Designated for purposes discussed and agreed with staff on a case by case basis.
• Customers may not move shelves, tables, wheels, or studio equipment.
• Customers may not host their own classes, workshops, or private lessons without prior written permission from studio management.

Parking

We are lucky to have free parking available right outside the studio!

Members should park in the yellow spaces marked for 865. These spots are located directly in front of The Wheel House, and on either side of the barrier between our entrance and the entrance to the dance studio next door to the northeast.

Please be considerate of neighboring businesses and use our parking spots when attending our studio leaving otherwise marked spots available for their customers.
