The Wheel House of NH is a community pottery studio offering studio memberships, scheduled studio access, a variety of fun and educational experiences, finished works of art, various finishing and firing services, and a variety of tools and supplies to further your work in ceramics. We also allow customers to purchase company credit as a gift for others (formerly ”Gift cards”).

Purchasing Our Offerings

We accept major credit and debit cards for online, over-the-phone, and in-studio purchases. We allow and encourage the use of saved payment methods for purchases. This has been found to be especially helpful when artists are in the middle of their work as they, for example, require a new bag of clay or wish to obtain a service as they go.

Membership subscriptions require maintaining an electronic payment method on file to allow automated recurring billing.

We also accept cash for in-studio purchases but exact change is required for cash purchases.

Refund policy

The Wheel House of NH generally treats all sales as non-refundable. However,

• We offer and maintain accounting for whole or partial company credit for allowed Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellation requests .
• Offerings which the company cancels or withdraws result in a customer credit (details below) which is usually fully refundable as described below.

There are a few exceptional circumstances in which the company may choose, at a customer’s request and management discretion, to grant a refund back to the purchaser. In such cases these rules apply:

• Payment is only ever refunded via the original payment method.
• A 5% processing and handling fee is reserved from the refunded amount.

Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellation requests

This section describes how The Wheel House of NH will issue credit and handle requests for returns, cancellations, or exchanges of past purchases. The credit policy depends on the kind of offering purchased as detailed below.

Finished Works

Sales are final for all finished works of pottery or other ceramic art sold through the studio. We do not offer credits, refunds, or exchanges for these. Because the pottery we offer is all hand-made and produced by a variety of artists, we can’t guarantee their suitability for any purpose. Please be sure you inspect any pieces carefully before you make your purchase.

We may offer different terms for pieces which are shipped by a carrier rather than obtained in person from our studio. Please inquire about such details at the time you request any works to be shipped for you.

Other Studio Products

We are willing to exchange unused products sold through the studio which are the wrong size or demonstrably defective or damaged when purchased.
